  • Interests: Church, dancing, and being an oxymoron (hence the username); swimming, cats, novels, sunsets, purple, sunshine, thunderstorms, chocolate, Mexican food, stars, Christian Contemporary music, hanging out with friends and family, ice skating, hiking to waterfalls, and most of all, getting into God. Things that I really despise but use anyway: zippers, caffene, electrical cords, alarm clocks, wrong turns, unreliable pens

  • Favorite Books: the Bible, Our Covenant God (highly recommended to blow away anyone seeking a more serious relationship with God!), Pride & Prejudice, Echo in the Darkness, Jane Eyre, whatever I'm reading currently!
  • Favorite Authors: the Sons of Korah (they wrote some Psalms), Francine Rivers, Beverly Lewis, Kay Arthur, Jane Austen, Henry W. Longfellow, Martha Snell Nicholson, C. S. Lewis, Oswald Chambers, Shakespeare, John Piper
  • Favorite Genres: Christian--or most any--fiction (I'm addicted to stories!), and stuff that helps me follow God a little better. I'm becoming interested in poetry, and I largely prefer traditional poetry over modern free-verse stuff.
  • Favorite Characters: Reepicheep the mouse, Gandalf the wizard, Leah Eshbol Mast, the Grinch, Hadassah (from Voice in the Wind)

Style

  • Where I shop: Usually Wal-Mart or J.C. Penny's (because they're cheap!); department stores when I can get there and afford it; I enjoy Steinmart and Dunlaps sometimes.
  • I like to wear: Purple! Stuff that's pretty and looks good on me. Also blue, red, pink, black, and white.
  • Can't live without: A watch (though I've had to try lately!)
  • Prized Possessions: My silver glittery heels, my two formals, my junk jeans
